My teaching methodology is simple, it depends on your student. I will spend time evaluating where every student is, look at the curriculum of there school and teach them from where they are. Secondly I believe in challenging my students do the absolute best that they can.
I am a patient educator who enjoys helping students reach their full potential by showing a bit of individual attention to those in need. I have an extensive knowledge of educational principles and am comfortable working with a variety of students of all developmental levels and cognitive abilities.
My teaching methodology is rather eclectic, meaning mixed. I generally start out with some audiovisual material, so as to make each student or tutee familiar with the language, and to avoid bad habits.
First and foremost, I approach every lesson with enthusiasm and energy! I quickly assess my students' language needs and tailor the lesson to best meet those specific needs. I employ a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches. I am a firm believer in direct instruction, modeling, and gradual release, and incorporate discussion and dialogue to a high degree in my lessons.
My teaching method is the Constructivism, we start from the program required and diagnosing the type of learning style of my students, so I can plan and develop activities during and after class so my students can fully practice and understand the lesson´s topics.
I am learner-focused, and adapt the vast array of teaching methods and technology that I possess to the specific needs and goals of the student(s). My students have landed jobs making over $100,000, promotions to upper level management, and entrance to some of the best universities and colleges in the world.
I have experience working with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade on building their language skills. I cover five areas in language learning: speaking, listening, reading, writing and metacognition. I individualize my instruction for each student by ascertaining their most relevant area of need or taking a holistic approach and improving their language skills in general.
My teaching methodology is the LADO Total Approach Method that I studied at the LADO International Institute. It consists of three phases.
- I always start my first tutoring session with a new student by discussing their goals. Is your focus on passing a test? Learning new idioms? Knowing what you want helps me provide the best lessons possible. - I am a creative, fun teacher, and I am great at teaching both academic and conversational English.
Depending on what you need, my teaching style changes. If you are in need of conversation, my approach centers around getting you to speak as much as possible, and to use the language as comfortably and confidently as you can. If you are in need of exam preparation, I use many techniques and methods that I have learned and/or created over the last 15 years. Technology is a favorite tool of mine.
For language acquisition especially, I think it is very important to have a tutor you trust, and who you feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes in front of. I always try to put students at ease, and help them move out of their comfort zone a bit in order to develop the language skills they desire.
My teaching method can best be described as an amalgam of the Communicative Language Method (CLT) and the Direct Method. I incorporate a lot of audio-visual content in my lessons, as I strive to teach listening and speaking skills first.
My methods are, to teach you words, build your vocabulary, and get you to use them. If you want help with writing, I will give you homework, and go over the mistakes and problems, so you will understand how to improve.
My methodology is interactive. I believe that in order for a student to have an effective tutoring session, that student must be very involved in the process. There must be great communication between the tutor and the student to be effective.
My teaching methods are fueled by using students' immediate needs and interests to use content that will be motivating and capture their attention. I truly enjoy finding my students’ specific goals and making a concrete plan so that we can achieve them.
When I was teaching at preschool, we have plan to teach out of, so after we go home, we as teacher can rest after over 8 hours a day. And I like to add activity as the kids play outdoors.
I have my own methodology and study books that I refer to as well. I will organize lesson-plans for each student abd what he/she is looking for but the 4 skills are in each class: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
I create courses that focus on my students' specific interests and needs. For example, I have designed courses for accountants, assistants, tourism personnel, petroleum engineers, university students, and executives.
My teaching method is based off students' passions as a learning base to enhance a long-lasting positive connection with the learning experience. I am an experienced teacher with a Masters in Education and have taught reading to small groups of 10 students up to 40 students in a classroom.
My Teaching method is to introduce my self to my students. And let them know I am not a mean Teacher. Also I teach them how to speak English by practicing words that they need my help with. Over all I complete the task with them so they can succeed, and have Confidence.
I begin my lessons with an analysis of my student's previous exams, or ask them to take a practice test for me. From there, I create a lesson plan focusing on what we need to spend most of our time on, and then develop homework and well explained methods for how to practice for the exam. The subsequent classes contain additional sharing of strategies, and analysis, and practice.
My teaching method is student-centered and based upon a student's strengths, goals and interests. I can structure an hour lesson to cover all or selective areas of reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary, listening/speaking using a text of my choice or a text and vocabulary related to your field.
I am an educator because I want to make a positive impact on the world. I want to be a blessing to students so they can grow up and share the same energy. “Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you,” Matthew 5:42. I know how valuable teacher encouragement and motivation is for a student.
My teaching method is student centered and focused on the needs of each individual. My lessons are purposeful, meaningful, and achievement oriented. I am comfortable teaching all levels from beginning to advanced learners as well as executives in the corporate world.
I like to use my students as my first curriculum. This means that I teach according to their learning style and interest. I begin my session with assessment to be certain where I am taking my students from then present a road map/ need analysis of how we will get there.
My approach on teaching comes in many different styles, one of my teaching methods is called The Case Method, which teaching based on what you would come across in everyday life. I teach students based on them personally and how they respond to different learning methods.
My ESL teaching experience has been with children ages 10-15. My students have been at various levels, ranging from very little knowledge of English to almost fluent. Typically, I choose a topic and then go over the topic, show examples, and provide some practice for the student. Practice is the key to grasping a language in my experience.
I have experience tutoring students of nearly all ages at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. My approach is based on conversation: I want to help students express themselves smoothly and clearly in English.
“David helped me rework my college essays and effectively explained the goals I should have during the writing process.” -- Aaron M. I prefer to have students recognize their own areas to improve. In my lessons, I demonstrate databases and bring in pieces of writing and relevant posters, along with worksheets and mini-quizzes.
My teaching and teacher training methodology is completely learner-centered. I base my approach to all teaching and training on PPP- Presentation, Practice, Production. In every lesson or unit, my students or teachers apply what they have learned to a lesson or exercise they create.
