My teaching is based on fun. I for me it was all about hands on learning. I do, we do, you do. I've been teaching for many years and I know what works and what doesn't. I was taught 3D the wrong way, then with all the experience I have I try to teach the way I wished I was taught.

I'd like to think about this tutoring as if we're members of a team, both improving and moving to success. Together, anyone can do anything. When teaching, I believe it's better to think of your teacher as your friend, as your teammate. That's what I want my students to feel like. Totally comfortable to ask me questions, think of new and creative ideas, and succeed in those ideas.
My sessions are for beginners who want to learn the basics of the Adobe Suite and intermediate students who want to learn next-level skills (animation, UI & UX design). I teach with patience and focus on hands-on experience. As I provide lessons, I expect you to work alongside me as we do a screenshare and to ask any and all questions along the way.
I am a very patient person, and celebrate that everyone has a different learning style.
Award winning graphic designer and illustrator with 20 years experience. I have my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Secondary Visual Arts. Licensed Massachusetts Art Teacher from prek-12th grade and have experience at the college and professional level.
I am an IT professional with certificates in print and web. I like to work one on one with my students are my clients to get a clear understanding of what they're looking looking for or need. I have done many graphic design pieces for my family and professionally and also love teaching it and using this offer to help people with their needs.
I can concentrate best one-on-one but if it is necessary to work with multiple students in a session, I can work with that. I can work across platforms (Windows and Mac) and can teach online. I have always had a strong pull towards teaching because of my interest in learning and knowing more.
I am interested in giving classes to anyone with a passion for design and a willingness to learn the Adobe Suite programs.
I offer a first consultation for free to talk through what you're looking to do with design. We can have a discussion about the kind of work you want to be doing, and what kind of skills you're looking to learn. Each week, I'll give you a project to work on based on your level. You'll complete the work outside of our meetings.
My class is either based on general lessons meant to introduce you to the functions and tools of Photoshop, or, if you have a specific project in mind, we can undergo a collaborative workshop experience to generate your project while simultaneously developing your skills.
Through the use of visual demonstrations, current art and design pieces, ads/videos and movies I allow students to discover how a powerful presentation of an image or product can make a memorable visual piece. My classes are geared towards High School graduates applying for college and college students preparing their professional portfolio.
Whether in group or individual basis, I start with group general lessons regarding the basics of the subject before turning the table over to YOU. After a point, YOU will learn what YOU WANT and make a project out of it! I switch to various methods of teaching to reach as much of the class as I can.
My teaching method is asking the students which area they need help with and where they would like to improve. For example, if they are struggling with a tool in one of the Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or they need help with a school project, I go over how to use specific tools and effects in the program, and also make sure they have fulfilled the requirements of their project.
I understand we all have our own way of learning. I feel I can teach best when I show thorough examples of what we want to acheive together. I also want you to pick a project you are invested in and can be proud of, like restoring an old family photo, or making a super cool photo manipulation of your friends.
I believe in a learn by discovery process where the teacher guides and directs the student in the proper way of using software while the student feels that they fine the easiest path to solving their problems using the tools they have available.
College educated and with two decades in front of and behind cameras I have practical and creative use of film style and digital cameras. It is a talent to know what an excellent image is and it is an art form to create an image.
I will teach you by basing my lessons on what you need to learn. I will work with you individually to help you with your individual needs. I am a young adult who is willing to use their free time to help others learn.
- AAS degree in design engineering - Practical applications with guidebook interactions and references for a general outlook prior to intricate working knowledge.
Since I know design pretty well, my approach is to take what a student knows and help them develop their talents to their full potential. I am here to answer questions, talk on different theories and methods that will help develop a student into the artist they want to become.
My teaching method will be in practical only.
I have a deep understanding about art students, their nature and mindsets. Know i know how teach them from drawing out their stories and originality to leading them executing ideas and visualizing them in presenting plateforms.
My teaching structure is based around the student's experience level. I can customize each experience and strive to make sure students feel like they can move along at his/her pace. We will go over design principles and fundamentals, as well as how to deal with clients and price your work.
My teaching methodology is to achieve step by step any idea that is proposed. In photoshop it is almost impossible not to be able to do what we want. It usually depends on the quality of the image. It is a magic tool that allows us to modify the image to our liking.
I am an artist and have been an assistant Professor online for over 16 years. I have specific lessons each week to help you develop your color skills. You will need to know Photoshop well enough that we can focus on color together. I start with basics and move toward more complex uses of color.
I'm a friendly professional graphic designer who enjoys teaching Photoshop orientation, basics and techniques for high school through adult students. We will begin with workspace orientation, then complete a pre-determined project together to cover basic Photoshop workflow, functions and tasks.
Student-Centered Approach to Learning My approach is to creates and environment where teachers and students play an equally working role in the learning process. The teacher's role is to tutor and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material. Student learning is achieved by formal and informal forms of assessment.
My teaching method stems from when I was a training supervisor at UPS, start by explaining what needs to be done, then showing what needs to be done, and finally have the students/trainees try it for themselves. And through each step checking to make sure they understand the lesson and each step before you move on.
I base each lesson on what students need to know to grasp the basics of the subject. After covering the basics I move onto more elaborate subject areas. I am also willing to customize lessons to best meet the needs of my students.
I was just a student for 15 years, so I know how the student mind works. I won't cover anything that's unnecessary or give any form of busy work because I don't want to waste anyone's time. The creative world is based around two things: how good you are and how much work you have. The faster you achieve both, the better. Without either, you simply just won't get any work.
