I tailor every lesson plan to the student's desires, interests, and available time. I think that every student is different and they all have different goals, and that those goals should be met and exceeded. I am fluent in several styles of music, and am very experienced in both acoustic and electric guitar.
My private teaching is a student centered approach focusing on the needs of the student. I'm very laid back and by nature adaptable. So I tend both to my style and the learning style of the student. I prefer simplicity over complicating things which I found bores people out of things in general.

My aim is to help students play songs they know and love and blend that together with basic music theory. I have realized that when a student enjoys what they are playing, they are much more likely to stick with learning and playing.
I teach beginner adults and children and can structure lessons to fit whatever style and interest a student has in music, performance and composition practices. Classical music theory and methodology are the foundation for my teaching, but I am able to pull in from other sources as necessary.
