I like to meet with a student and ask about their background, their motivation for learning self-defense, and then try to tailor each class based on that information. As classes progress I adjust how I teach based on their progress.
My methodology is analytical, going from the simple to the complex, while the direct styles of task assignment, self-learning and guided discovery I consider them a great tool to teach this discipline, on the other hand it is guaranteed that each session is adapted according to the biotype the student's availability.
