I am a horse trainer that specializes in Mustangs and vice correction. I teach people how to communicate with their horses on the ground first. This helps not only build trust but also confidence. I use gentle, non aggressive methods and am here to advise. I can travel around the southern Virginia area and northern North Carolina area for consultations and workshops if needed.

I base my teaching off of individual needs. Each person is different and will receive individualized instruction. My students have gone on to become successful in their chosen discipline. My goal is to teach mutual respect and understanding of your horse partner.
My teaching meathod is based on natural horsemanship. I work with the person to help them work with the horse with more ease. My lesson structure is based on the learning speed of the student. I will not force a student to do something they are not ready for.
Interested in horses but don’t know where to begin? I can help! My teaching method is to work with each student on an individual and personal level. I can help you get started with horses and learn the basics.
I begin any topic with the absolute fundamentals. I do not mind to spending a lot of time on a single topic, and I will not move on until a student has full understanding of a concept.
My family was part of the organization that became the Quarter Horse Association. I have trained and coached Quarter Horse western and hunt seat, as well as Buckskin and Quarter Horses to national titles. Following a natural horsemanship ethic has always worked best for the riders and horses I have trained. No stress, no pressure personal goal oriented training.
Teaching by using the basics to build Confidence on a horse and using that confidence to reach your goals.
I started riding at the age of 4 years old. I've found that no matter what discipline, the most important aspects are balance and confidence. I start riders on a lunge without reins. Riders are asked to perform various tasks to improve their balance. As skills progress, riders gain the reins back and more freedom.
I base my classes on the "work" of the horse. I work more on the flat, but I also give courses at the obstacle and a field of cross. I can also help you on foot work with your horse (loin, long reins), or with one of my horses. I can give lessons with your horse or one of my school horses.
Having played many sports in my life, mostly riding (since I was 4 years old), I would like to make you share my knowledge (in all simplicity, humility) in terms of the equestrian community, emphasizing the relationship you can grow with your horse, nature and especially fUN you! :) For more info, send me a message via SMS or email, I would answer with pleasure!
Hello there! My name is Grace and I have been teaching in this subject area for 10 years. I have grown up with horses and have a real passion for what I teach. I have a range of industry skills and understanding in this topic area.
I try to copy my teaching method from my own trainer's method. I learned so much from her, so my goal is to try to do the same for fellow riders. I like to take things slowly, one step at a time, because nothing comes out of rushing things. Horse AND rider need time to understand things.
I try to provide supportive and well-informed advice. There is a lot to know when starting out and it can be really confusing - everyone has an opinion when it comes to horses! I try to find out what you need and how you learn, and tailor a service to that.
Currently undertaking my Coaching qualifications through Equestrian Australia, I am passionate about horse welfare and happiness and my focus is on creating lasting partnerships between horse and rider. I am fully qualified in Certificate III and IV Sport Coaching Equestrian and have been riding since I was 6.

My teaching method is different for each student. It all depends on what horse you ride, what discipline and what level you are riding at. For group lesson all students can be different levels and each will be focused on individually to achieve the same thing. Different methods work for different people and horses.
I teach anyone of any level how to ride their horse with easy hands and care. Hoe to tack them up properly and to cool them off after each ride. I base my teaching upon horse care in which is in the best favour of both horse and rider. I teach my students that the welfare of their horse must always be their priority no matter what the situation may be.

I find that it is very important to get to know each student individually and then base my lessons off there specific needs.. for example if some students are visual learners pictures and diagrams will be shown throughout the session to help explain better, if there is linguistic learners then there will be more words being used in either writing or speech.
