I use a variety of methods while teaching either martial arts or fitness. I mixed visual, verbal and written lectures adjusted to all kinds of students. Learning self defense or martial arts such as Karate, Kobudo, or Aikido is really a journey of self discovery, of which character development plays a key role. For our traditional martial arts lessons, we follow the universal standard (SKIF) Shotokan Karate and Okinawan Kobudo curriculum which has a specific skill set for each of the 10 levels to black belt.
