Muay Thai is a tough sport and requires an insane level of fitness to cope with it. I focus on teaching my students the basics of boxing and kicking, but more importantly, defending themselves. I make it a point to understand that everyone trains at a different level, some more aggressively than others. I cater to everyone's own individual style.
This is a team effort. I am here to serve you and help you reach your goal. This not solely taekwondo training I'm also here to be a coach, a mentor and a friend. We will discuss your goals and how we could reach them together.
I use a variety of methods while teaching either martial arts or fitness. I mixed visual, verbal and written lectures adjusted to all kinds of students. All the classes are very actives and with a lot of repetition for the student's benefits. Be assured that what you will learn will be effective toward your goals.

I'm a certified Group Fitness Instructor and have been teaching kickboxing for almost a full year. Before that, I was a kickboxing student for 6 months. We start with the basics and build up from there. My classes are an hour long and include a warm-up, stretch, bag rounds, partner drills, and a final cool-down.
I am skilled at tailoring martial arts/self-defense programs to the specific needs and physical abilities of my students. I believe a building a strong foundation of knowledge and physical conditioning in order to ensure techniques can be applied effectively in a self-defense context.
My teaching methodology is based on a focus of conscious and subconscious conditioning and training. A person must be trained to respond quickly and effectively to his situation with a balance of technique and force. I have taken many years of training and designed a program to make the this method work for everyone.
My methodology is to focus on every student as individuals and hone their individual skills and work on improving areas of struggle in order to help them become the very best they can be as martial artists and dancers. I am currently a Taekwon-Do and Boxing Instructor at North London Taekwon-Do and I teach dance in the studio next door to it.

All classes have a grading system in place. Allowing everyone to grow, achieve and obtain a black belt should they wish to do so.

I first explore the theory (how to strike correctly) then I continue with a practical teaching of combos / movements, shadowboxing, and then light sparring with the student. At the end of the session, muscle strengthening (body weight), and stretching.
