My teaching approach is multi-fold. For me the teaching methodology is the key for the student's success. I start explaining the concept with examples and in lay man terms. With the step by step approach the content details increases and i try to inculcate the habit of practicing problems regularly.
I mainly focus on understanding and building strong conceptual foundations. I try to make my classes as much interactive as possible. I also focus on problem-solving and teach looking at a problem from different angles. I usually teach high school students and undergrad level students. I love to take up questions in and after the class.
I base my teaching methods on providing the proper framework for problem solving and critical thinking, developing the students ability to solve problems. I give lessons to everyone from elementary school to college students and have experience in all of these levels.
I always start a lesson by activating my student's prior knowledge to see what they know/remember. In general, my teaching methodology is to make the content easier to understand by using analogies to explain things. I also strive to determine where my student's main point of confusion is so that it can be clarified before moving on to the next topic.
As a student myself, I apply a lot of the same ideologies to my client’s learning process as I do with my own. It’s important to understand how one learns and discover the best study methods for oneself. I am big on growth mindset and positive reinforcement.
I teach for Elementary & Middle School level Mathematics, Arithmetic, Problem Solving, & Algebra. Create an individual lesson plan for each student and implement their plans. Tutor to students with detailed teaching skills & seek feedback to make sure understanding.
I always try to make science attractive to my students first. The feedback I usually receive from my students is that they feel how amazing and interesting is the natural sciences after taking my classes! I always try to teach my students the beautiful and amazing science behind the formula and raw data.
My style of teaching is questions driven teaching. I can help you most if you ask me lots of questions ( even if a question seems stupid to you or your classmates, ask it, any number of times.) Besides that, I like you to imagine whatever concepts I teach you.
My teaching method is adaptive to the students need. It would be interactive that would engage the students throughout the whole process.
I will guide you through the problem, but I will not do the problem for you. After couple tries, the student has to come up with his/her own method since she/he will have to remember this method for test/exam or quiz.
I base my teaching style to your learning needs. I do my preparation before the lesson and prepare study aids such as diagrams, graphs and information bases that we may need. I use programs such as Excel to visually teach topics on mathematics and Physics and Autodesk Inventor to visualize objects in 3D. Most of all, we will work at your pace.
I believe creating a friendly, energetic environment with words of encouragement can do much in addition to carefully organized lesson plans when it comes to helping a student reach his/her academic goals. I am able to schedule time wisely and I have study tips that I have gained through experience.
For me teaching is something that should be taught from fundamental and to make things clear and easy to remember i always teach my students to visualize the problem and understand the logic and question thats asked. Every child is different so i have a customized style for each and every kid to teach them in different and unique pattern.
My lessons will be based on providing ways for students to understand concepts by providing several examples to simplify the concept. The lessons will be designed towards elementary, middle, and high school students. I am a tutor who wants the students to feel that they completely understood the topic as mathematical concepts build on each other.
My tutoring lessons consist of a mixture between reviewing key concepts and working on example problems so that my student feels confident and ready to take on classwork and exams. I make sure that students go over any clarifications before moving on as it is important to establish a good framework.
I stress fundamentals, especially in calculus and physics. Math is something you build on. If the student lacks experience with fundamental concepts, more often than not, I will pause the ongoing lesson to equip the student with the necessary tools and knowledge on how to use them. Lesson plans are simply guidelines, and if the student is more likely to succeed without it, I will get rid of it.
I approach each problem by breaking it down into the smallest steps possible and using a simple process to determine the right way to solve it. Any problem can be broken up into small, digestible pieces.
I try to make the learning process enjoyable. Develop methods that will make will benefit the students and make them successful. Using visuals, making connections, teaching strategic thinking.
I teach by motivating and involving the student in the learning process.
My teaching method is showing you how to do 1 particular problem and guide you to think logically to solve other similar problems.
I am a physician in the Bay Area offering math and science tutoring for students at all academic levels, including preparation for AP exams, SAT, and MCAT. I’m also offering assistance with written assignments. In my lessons, I focus on critical thinking and understanding the subject matter while minimizing the amount of pure memorization required.
Graduated from University of Southern California as MS in Electrical Engineering. I encourage both online tutoring (skype or Cisco WeBex) or 1-1 coaching (Student must host) or even class of students. In and around San Jose area ( about 40 miles) for 1-1 tutoring or a class but for online coaching student can be from any locality.
Bachelor of Science , Electrical Engineering degree in 1985. I was gifted Math student during high school . I entered country Math competition back in 1979 and won the 2nd best prize. i had taken statistical analysis , calculus , advanced calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra Digital signal processing. There are no single technique which is good for everyone.
I have recently graduate college in Chemistry major from SUNY Plattsburgh, and I want to continue my graduate study in West Coast. I love solving problems and doing calculation in Calculus, Chemistry and Physics, and I like tutoring college and high school students.
I approach teaching by starting with the basic theory then use a simple example to understand concepts. Then I work with the student on other more difficult problems and guide them in simple steps, patiently making any corrections as necessary.
My teaching method is trying to work with the way the student has already learned. I check regularly for understanding and break down problems into small steps. I like to show origins of where or why a formula can be used and show alternate ways to get to the same answer.
I'm a student, studying Physics, at SJSU. I've tutored elementary school, middle school, high school, community college, and SJSU students. The technique I like to use to teach these students is Socratic: paraphrase a student's question and make them come up with the correct answer, encouraging/guiding them along the way.
I use a variety of methods depending on the needs of my students. I love learning and I try to instill in my students that same love of learning. I also like to make it fun. if possible, I use learning games. I use visuals in my lessons. My students and I work as team.
I have a bachelors in Psychology from San Francisco State University. I also have a minor in Special Needs Education. I am a compassionate, intelligent and knowledgeable instructor. I provide much support and love to my students.
I can teach may sub-topics of Mathematics and Science to high school students as well as programming languages and related subjects to college students. I have a simple and straightforward approach to teaching.
