My teach methodology varies student by student. Everyone has their own style of learning: visual, repetitive, and practice styles are more of my popular ones. But I am great at teaching little tricks to remember formulas better. It depends upon the student.
I prefer in-person teachings for high school or college level students. I ask that students make me aware of trouble areas prior to us meeting so I am able to prepare a schedule for that session. I am a student myself, so I understand how hard it can be to grasp a subject, especially chemistry.
My teaching method is having persistence with the tutee, thoroughly explaining to them how to solve specific math problems, and explaining to them why that's the correct way to solve the problem. I also encourage the tutee to not be afraid of asking questions and being able to give them practice problems to improve their math skills even more.
I like to tailor my methodology to each individual student. No two students learn the same way and, therefore, no two students are best served by the same methodology. I like to start off with inquiry-based assessments and continue asking my students questions and making them answer hypotheticals.
I tutor by laying out a goal that needs to be accomplished, and show step by step how it can be accomplished. Then depending on the individuals learning style, engage with them and correct their process of accomplishing that goal.
My teaching method is tailored specifically for your needs. Every learner requires focus on different areas, and I match those needs with my overall mathematics curriculum. I prefer to focus on students in grades 7-12 because this is where the core understanding on math fundamentals happens.
I tried to find the best way for my students to success regardless of their learning style. I have a lot of skill in presenting information and explaining it in such a way that it makes the most sense. I'm very passionate about science and math and I am a teacher because there's nothing like helping someone have success learning something that they might often struggle with.
I am an upperclassman looking to give guidance into the world of mathematics for those who need assistance with coursework or prepare those who would like to seek ahead.
I work with anyone who wants to learn. I taught a student in his early 50's with dyslexia, college students, high school students, and middle school students. An integral part of my methodology is making the material memorable for my students. I do that by incorporating my students' interests along with humor.
I am a math tutor who teaches anyone who needs help in elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, and geometry. I also teach college students who are learning college algebra. I adapt to the learning style of the student and teach based on what concepts the student is struggling with.
Civil Engineering graduate specialises in teaching mathematics and science subjects to junior, middle and high School level students.Methodological teaching with examples helps students to grasp the concepts easily and practice them with good exercises.
I have several year experience with direct private math and science turoring of all ages.
I earned a BS and an MS in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics, an MS in engineering management, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. I also have real world experience and will be happy to assist. So, if you need to know more about me, please reach out.
I like to lead my students to be able to answer the questions on their own. I always start by finding out how far they are in solving a problem and supplying them with little hints to allow them to continue solving the question till they have solved it. This way they know what to do at every step of the way.
My teaching method is crafted around each student's individual need. I take an interest to learn what areas of the subject the student is struggling with and tailor the lesson after that.
I worked one-on-one with High school and middle school kids preparing students for exams, helping with homework, and SAT, ACT math test preparation. I personally prefer one-on-one tutoring and enjoy engaging my students with fun and challenging math problems.
I look where there is a gap in knowledge and use the focus to cover what is missing and what is needed. In other words, we will go over how all of math is connected and necessary to be successful in every field of mathematics.
I have primarily instructed college students at the University of Utah with topics ranging across mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, and general study techniques. However, I am comfortable tutoring any age group, from AP and ACT exams for High School students to return or nontraditional students at the University level.
first I ask few questions to understand where are we at, then I ask the book that your teacher is going trough and then I need to see the exams that you have been taken and I need to know what point you want get. what is your goal and how many hours do you have .

I mainly focus on understanding and building strong conceptual foundations. I try to make my classes as much interactive as possible. I also focus on problem-solving and teach looking at a problem from different angles. I usually teach high school students and undergrad level students. I love to take up questions in and after the class.
My teaching methodology is very wide, is base on the Grade level and background knowledge but most of all my teaching methodology will help you understand the WHY of each topic that in most cases is not taught in the classroom...
I follow a mastery based learning approach for teaching. I create tailored individual plans for all my students, focusing on their learning styles and overcoming past math difficulties in order to excel at math now and in the future.
Some specific accomplishments include: • Took middle school students to finals in a computer-based proficiency competition. • Established positive and trusting relationships in the Columbus/Reynoldsburg/Worthington/Westerville area communities and many other suburban school districts in the Columbus Ohio area. • Well organized and efficient.
I approach each topic clearly and as simplistic as possible for students to understand. I look for new and better ways to comprehend the information easier for my students. Outgoing and friendly and there for you when you’re in need of help.
My approach to teaching consists of student centered activities that help meet their academic needs; also, I place emphasis on their struggling areas. In addition, I use visual aids and manipulatives to help students comprehend abstract concepts more easily.
I give lessons to students of any age at any level. I am here to help with exactly what you need help with.
I am a Physics graduate with a B.S. from Gonzaga University, capable of creating tutoring sessions designed to work along-side students of high-school or college level classes in Physics, Math, Science, and other subjects if requested.
I am a gentle and patient tutor who has been teaching math since 1972. I teach by showing that what appear to be new ideas are really just old ideas stated in a new way. In more than 40 years of teaching, I have literally taught everything from arithmetic to the calculus, and everything in-between (algebra, trigonometry and pre-calculus)..
I make teaching/tutoring Math fun and LESS intimidating. From my experience, I have observed that most students (6-12th, adult) have a fear towards understanding/learning math concepts. My approach is to always help the student build their confidence and eliminate fear.

Perfect! Outstanding tutor. Very sharp and willing to take her time to explain the concepts.
Perfect! We hired Milena to help our son, an engineering major, work on his Calculus skills over the summer. We found her to be serious, yet friendly, and very knowledgeable. As my son said, she really 'knows her stuff!' We would definitely recommend her!
Perfect! Excellent! Fotios, over the course of 4 months, has really helped my daughter develop her problem-solving skills. He makes the subject engaging and can pass on his enthusiasm to his students. I really think she will do very well in the Physics...
Perfect! Professional and knowledgeable about the subject :) Thanks Adi!
Perfect! Peter has helped my daughter in vector calculus and differential equations. He has helped with homework problems, test preparation, and concept understanding. All together Peter's tutoring has had a great benefit for her. I expect he would be...

Thousands of teachers can teach you mathematics. Find private lessons closest to you.
In some shape and form, math is able to explain just about everything in life. For some people, math is truly one of the greatest subjects to learn. It holds the answer to so many questions, so learning as much as possible about math can lead to a grasp of information that is not owned and obtained by many people. However, to others, math is just another subject that can prove incredibly tricky, as if a certain math formulas and math questions are not completely and accurately understood, everything else around it can prove devastating, both to the student and to their grade. That is exactly why, should a student struggle with any form of math, they need to seek out the help of mathematics private teachers. These private teachers create very specific math lessons for each student. This way, a student know what they need to study and work on in order to not only catch up with the class, but eventually surpass the other students.
All sorts of different topics are related to math and the mathematics private lessons. Some of these classes include physics private lessons, chemistry private lessons, biology private lessons, plus engineering private teachers can help with statistics private lessons as well.
