My teaching method is based on communicative competence and on integrated learning and teaching. I leave you with an example. For Spanish class, I usually have a lesson of the geography of South America. I tell the class that all but 4 countries on that continent speak Spanish. Those 4 are what I call the "three little toes" at the top: Guyana, Suriname, and French Guyana.
