My teaching method is basically to let students gather all the knowledge they have and put them into categories and the specific type o question this equation is going to solve.
The goal I have is to always for the student to learn, in his/her own pace. I try to make them visualize the problem and create a process to solve it, so they know how to approach similar problems in the future.
My teaching philosophy is to help students discover how to do things for themselves. We'll work together to summarize the current topic, discuss the core information, and apply it to problem solving exercises. Students will come away with a better understanding of the material and strategies for working out problems.
I am currently pursuing a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. When teaching a topic or concept, I preview the important points of that topic, bringing important points or related topics to provide context and ensure that it is better appreciated.
