I enjoy teaching children and young teens/adults the basic and high level skills of different art forms in a free flowing atmosphere. I enjoy letting people create and learn at there own pace, with the help from a teacher or other students.
My teaching method is really personalised because i want to understand very well all of the art tecnics and individual process about my students, so but i have 6 moduls that i used for the base to teach the basic about creative process.
My teaching method would depend on the student and see where there starting from, talk about what they wish to improve on. I would demonstrate, have them follow and then give advice on how to improve.
I can give lessons to anyone of any age. The basics for art can be easily understood by anyone and even younger children can be taught easily. I begin with evaluations to see what the students already know and can do. Then from there I ask what they want and where they want to get to. We work on those things and I'll even critique their work like universities do.
Introduction to relevant background knowledge, history, and artists. Projects broken down into research, thumbnail sketches, and other preliminary task or technique preparation. That knowledge, plus the student's personal influence, is then applied to the project.
My lessons are clearly explained step by step. I base my classes on foundation skills, art history and your personal expressive goals.I use a lot of visual examples to learn from and inspire. Progress and successes always happen if you try :) My teen student have won awards and scholarships.
Art and Design subjects are generally quite broad in how they are presented at GCSE and A2 level, therefore I will provide you with the skills to: - fluently evaluate your own work - crtically write about the work of other artists using sought after vocabulary and technical terms - structure and present your work in a cohesive way - gather research and generate ideas for your own work and...
My teaching is based on idea development classes, integrating contemporary art and themes into my teaching requires a shift from predominantly technique-driven instruction to idea-driven instruction. Many artists do not work in a single medium or technique and instead try to explore an idea, event, situation, or question through multiple media and visual strategies; I encourage this methodology.
I give guidance to students and I help them with the technical art and design process. I give them guidance through the project briefs by brainstorming and researching. I am a great researcher and I cam help students with personal statements and University projects.
My teaching methods would be to start breaking shapes and shading to make the learning easier on the student. I would have videos related to the learning and some figure drawing. Lot's of observational drawing as well as basic knowledge of design. If the student is interested. I would also give Adobe Suite classes.
I base my approach on a partnership very much under the humanist philosophy of building empathy and trust, geared to involve the learner at each stage of the decision making process. Through building up a rapport with students i can adapt my methodology towards individual learning styles.
I encourage students to identify the learning style that works best for them, and provide continuous positive support. My students have thrived in a fun learning environment through the use of visuals and practical experience. I have experience engaging students from as young as 4 years old, through to tertiary level.
My classes and lessons change based on the individual. I assess what your needs are and plan accordingly. Continuous feedback and positive reinforcement offered. I am most comfortable tutoring and teaching elementary grades; JK-grade 8. Will follow IEP.
I base my classes on the visual exploration of art forms from the past to the present, which provides a framework for self expression through mixed media. My methodology to teach art is a clear focus on Composition and Imagination.
I am happy to tutor in person and in larger groups. My work can be found on my website (concealed information) I am happy to teach individuals of any age and I tend to adapt my teaching technique based on the needs of the individual or the group.
I am a current 2nd year Fine art student therefore I am also in the current learning period which alows me a certain understanding with students. I am an honest tutor who encourages pupils to question their work and how they can further develop it and to make it the best quality, whilst still learning valuable information.
Students looking to improve their illustration skills and experiment with new mediums such as inks and watercolours will benefit from my fun, engaging lessons. Want to learn some screen printing practices? No problem, I can bring all the kit you need to start creating some custom print work. I specialise in animal illustration so they will play a large part in my lessons too.
Welcome to the world of making. I am happy to have you join me to solve the most mysterious mystery of all times. It is a riddle that many have tried to solve, and have unfortunately enjoyed the mere process of solving so fulfilling that they’ve been stuck doing just that ever since.
My teaching is student-centred, evidence and action-based providing information and offering feedback to facilitate critical thinking. Clear lesson goals, demonstration, facilitation and mentoring, practice, scaffolding are all included in my teaching strategies to develop and enhance meta-cognition.
In the art classroom, I perceive the diversity of learners as individual components in the colour spectrum. Each hue carries its own unique value, tone and expression in completing a whole colourful picture.
Practice makes perfect- at first I will show you how to do it and then let you try yourself while reviewing it with you in the process and explaining what it has to look like and why these are the standards.
I like to offer a traditional style of working and describe how this might be obtained though exploring the elements that go into the process. I also look at potential subject matters. I look at the use photography, sketching and gathering of source materials. I also look at materials and surfaces. My recent studies have looked at how landscape is explored by contemporary artists.
I base my art classes on research and skill based methods. I encourage students to develop their own artistic approach.
I am avaliable to assist you with achieving your creative potential and helping your creativity flourish no matter what medium you choose to work in.
I am a enthusiastic creative professional with over 7 years of experience teaching Art & Design. Committed to installing Art appreciation in all students. Perseverance and a positive attitude has enabled me to create a fun and engaging working environment where my students have excelled and become confident young artists.
I believe that art is not a subject that can be taught, but creative ideas can be shared to inspire artists. If you are an artist, this will come out in you. Becoming friends can make it easier to share experiences and ideas.
I base my lessons on each individual student or student group's needs and goals. I have a laissez-faire attitude to my student's wishes.
