I don’t have a standard teaching methodology. I believe each student learns in their own way. Each student is unique and their learning methods are different so I would get to know my students and I would teach them according to how they each learn best.
I have a passion in teaching, and I really enjoy it. I try to teach each subject as simple as possible. Usually I use many examples to explain different topics. Plus, I think, having students to work on homework, will help as well.
I have given lessons to students (K-12), college students, and adults, everyone learns differently. I find that most learn by doing. We will work together to determine the best learning approach for you. We will go through the materials and having in depth discuss and working through sample problems together.
I teach youth of ages 8 - 18 who are interested in learning to code. I start with the fundamentals, build upon them, reinforce concepts through practice, and assign take-home challenges. I design the lessons so that students experience a balance between learning and hands-on practice. I personalize lessons in order to cater to the individual needs and interests of each student.
My degree is in Computer Engineering and have given lessons to experienced professionals as well as entry-level students. I use mostly discussion and demonstration with lectures to share critical knowledge and practical experiences. My lessons are humorous and very interactive.
I base my classes from foundation to advanced level of Programming. With examples of code so that the student can realize the power of coding. Interactive sessions making sure of the student's feedback. As a tutor, I have this vision to perform my duty as an instructor and inculcate the knowledge of programming to the users.
My teaching method is two parts: teach the fundamental knowledge needed, and then build projects that allow us to apply that knowledge so we have a great understanding of the material. I want students to understand that this type of teaching may be slightly more challenging at first, but it forces us to grow as programmers, and have a better understanding than most.
I LIKE TO TEACH FRESHERS, MAY BE SCHOOL STUDENTS OR ANYONE WITH NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF PROGRAMMING. START WRITING PROGRAMS FROM DAY ONE. CONCEPTS WILL BE EXPLAINED. EXAMPLES WILL BE GIVEN. GIVING ENOUGH ASSIGNMENTS, I WILL ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE MASTERED THE TOPIC.
I focus on each student individually and brush up the knowledge in areas that are needed most. Each lesson can be planned to uniquely accommodate for specific skill set and best prepare for set goals as examinations, material revision or general knowledge.
Free introductory 30-min. session to discuss goals/objectives, set realistic expectations, identify and assess areas of weakness, strategize on coming up with a game plan, and match schedules for future sessions. Extremely patient, invested in your success, and understand your needs and help you out with a guide to achieving your goals.
I have done face-to-face teaching and online ones. I am a very patient instructor who understands where you are with these classes because I have been there and may be there again next week :) My goal is to get you to your next sweet spot.
The methodology is adaptable and flexible to the audience. An informative assessment is discussed to gauge individual or group needs and form curriculum. Discussions in different fashions are used to carry out and engage each person in the learning experience.
My teaching methodology is very practical. I don't regurgitate what are in the classic textbooks. What I do I give students off line you tube videos and slides which they can read off line and come to the classes knowing the background. In the classes, I go over the concepts focusing on the practical aspect of the subject.
I work at the student's pace. First, I evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the student. I take time to cover the basics and ensure the concepts are clear. Then, I would work some exercises to reinforce the learning.
My teaching methodology will differ with every person. Through working with many different students, I have learned that different students have different needs and learning habits. The first few lessons are important to realize what method of learning is most effective for the student.
I use my building block strategy, making learning new concepts easier. The strategy entails breaking down big concepts into smaller pieces, and then building it back up again. So, whether you want to become a better coder, build projects, or get your future job. I am going to help you to become successful.
I focus on the students and their individual needs. I prefer question and answer format (in either direction). Sometimes humor works, sometimes it doesn't. I pride myself in the students success in both attitude and results. If I am helping a student to finish an assignment, I don't want them to wish they never have to write another program again.
My teaching methodology is interactive. Instead of me shoving information down your throat, I want to have a conversation with you about a specific topic to make sure you understand the concept. It would be good to let me know what topics you are interested in so that I can do some preparation work beforehand.
My teaching methods are to first know what a student’s level is, I then start a plan for each student, I use a number of books and other aids. It also depends on his or her locations and their requirements, and also the grade level, I also teach ADD and ADHD students.
As a college student, I have learned a lot from studying the theory and applying it to real world problems. Similarly, I hope to first teach the basics and build on that. I believe that a fundamental understanding is of utmost importance when hoping for success. I hope to tutor in the same way and exude patience and understanding in the face of difficult topics.
One on one tutoring on classes that you may be struggling with. Can tutor college level math to college students at a reasonable rate. I allow free 2 hours of trial tutoring to see if you think I am a good fit.
I have tutored students in the whole range of k-12th grade as well as college students and graduate students in Mathematics( Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus 1 & 2, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Statistics, etc.
I'm teaching based on the ways that I've learned to program. I've read couple good programming books and I can teach people by demonstrating and explaining.
I have been giving classes to Bachelor students. And also volunteered to teach high school students. I explain the concept and show how to solve the real time problems practically on computer in class. Students get to work with me in class.
I teach online via chat. Students should have a computer and the relevant programming language installed and come prepared with some exercises or questions. I was a TA for Theory of Algorithms at MIT as well, but I prefer not to give lectures and to work out real problems.
I am ready to take on any beginner or intermediate programmers who are interested in learning Python. I am a strong believer in learning by doing and project based learning.
My teaching method varies from student to student.
My teaching methodology is one of figuring out a problem together but also giving the student tasks to do by themselves. Also, I would say that I give the student a realistic approach to coding, as in I don't just stick to the textbook but also show them how to google search for solutions online, which any good coder will tell you, you have to be good at.
I have been programming for four years outside of college. During college, I picked up client side and server side development on my free time. Most of my classes were theoretical, but my passion lies in practicality. Web development.
I think writing code is the most important part of learning code. I love to help students solve problems and understand various programming concepts. I prefer helping students who are beginning a language or concept, but am open to teaching students at all levels.
