Learning by doing and students must foucs on analytical reasoning rather than by heart and love to see you all learned
Every student is unique so should the teaching style: basically I have a general overall main idea to what to cover and teach but adapt to each student's skill level. The student should either know what they want or not.
I have a passion in teaching, and I really enjoy it. I try to teach each subject as simple as possible. Usually I use many examples to explain different topics. Plus, I think, having students to work on homework, will help as well.
I am open to teaching beginner level up to university level programming for individuals and, in some occasions, for groups. Each lesson will be tackled with a hands-on approach, taking a problem (either the student's question or a specific topic in general) and going through how we will be solving the programming challenge step-by-step, and learning the concept as we go.
My lessons are structired to be byte sized lessons.
WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTING FROM ME: From the first contact, I will mentor you for achieve your goals in the year (From the floor to the roof). With that concept you will progress every day in the area you select. EVEN IF YOU ARE LEARNING SOME SPANISH, WE CAN MAKE THE LESSONS IN IT.
I firmly believe that school is not a place to learn facts and figures, but rather a place where we learn how to learn. My goal is to develop your ability to autonomously learn. Give the students the tools to succeed and the need for a teacher is unnecessary.
I teach thru doing. I like to use real life examples to demonstrate concepts. I will adjust my lesson to the students problems. IT and programming need practical experience to help understanding. I listen to you first to understand your goals and issues, then work with you on a plan.
My degree is in Computer Engineering and have given lessons to experienced professionals as well as entry-level students. I use mostly discussion and demonstration with lectures to share critical knowledge and practical experiences. My lessons are humorous and very interactive.
I LIKE TO TEACH FRESHERS, MAY BE SCHOOL STUDENTS OR ANYONE WITH NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF PROGRAMMING. START WRITING PROGRAMS FROM DAY ONE. CONCEPTS WILL BE EXPLAINED. EXAMPLES WILL BE GIVEN. GIVING ENOUGH ASSIGNMENTS, I WILL ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE MASTERED THE TOPIC.
I think the best way to learn computer science is to constantly do projects and keep coding with someone to guide you through the process. It also requires a lot of patience when finding errors and when debugging your code.
My teaching philosophy revolves around the student. It is my ultimate goal to help the student learn, not by memorization techniques which many are accustomed to, but by teaching the abstract concepts that really build the basis of computer science in general.
I teach beginner to advanced level computer science topics in python, Java, SQL and Scratch to students of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching methodology will depend on your specific needs but I always strive to make my lessons clear, informative, and engaging with a strong focus on practical applications.
I focus on each student individually and brush up the knowledge in areas that are needed most. Each lesson can be planned to uniquely accommodate for specific skill set and best prepare for set goals as examinations, material revision or general knowledge.
I work at the student's pace. First, I evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the student. I take time to cover the basics and ensure the concepts are clear. Then, I would work some exercises to reinforce the learning.
I use my building block strategy, making learning new concepts easier. The strategy entails breaking down big concepts into smaller pieces, and then building it back up again. So, whether you want to become a better coder, build projects, or get your future job. I am going to help you to become successful.
My teaching methodology is basically mentoring students to generate their own learning experiences and interpret information that may or may not be the same for someone else but definitely unique to the learner.
I focus on the students and their individual needs. I prefer question and answer format (in either direction). Sometimes humor works, sometimes it doesn't. I pride myself in the students success in both attitude and results. If I am helping a student to finish an assignment, I don't want them to wish they never have to write another program again.
As a college student, I have learned a lot from studying the theory and applying it to real world problems. Similarly, I hope to first teach the basics and build on that. I believe that a fundamental understanding is of utmost importance when hoping for success. I hope to tutor in the same way and exude patience and understanding in the face of difficult topics.
One on one tutoring on classes that you may be struggling with. Can tutor college level math to college students at a reasonable rate. I allow free 2 hours of trial tutoring to see if you think I am a good fit.
My teaching methodology is based on illustration, conceptualization, personalization, and captivating interaction through enhanced educational tools. Illustration entails providing instruction through proven ideas such as Kagan's Education Theory. Conceptualization involves understanding a students thought process and train of thought.
My strategy is very simple: first, evaluate the unique challenges students are facing in their education. Second, identify what problems and questions they find most difficult and explore specifically why these questions are difficult. Third, customizes solutions to help them overcome those setbacks.
My teaching methodology really depends on my student. I tutor from middle school to college and every student is different. The most important thing to me, is to know when my students last felt confident with the material. Once I know that, I know where to start.
I approach each student by starting with their own personal skill levels. I want to know what you know, and that's where we'll begin. Everyone can learn coding and programming! I can teach students of all levels, and I enjoy teaching.
I have tutored students in the whole range of k-12th grade as well as college students and graduate students in Mathematics( Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus 1 & 2, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Statistics, etc.
I teach online via chat. Students should have a computer and the relevant programming language installed and come prepared with some exercises or questions. I was a TA for Theory of Algorithms at MIT as well, but I prefer not to give lectures and to work out real problems.
I think writing code is the most important part of learning code. I love to help students solve problems and understand various programming concepts. I prefer helping students who are beginning a language or concept, but am open to teaching students at all levels.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of New Mexico, Currently Ph.D student in Computer Science emphasis in Data Analytics. I like to teach students not only how to program, but also why we use the methods we use so students can apply the methods to other algorithm and solutions. Demonstration and explanation are the best ways to learn any computer language or method.
I love to teach theories with real-life problems and case studies so as to solve them practically. My aim is to inculcate the urge in my students to acquire, analyze and apply their knowledge while solving complicated problems.
