Interested in horses but don’t know where to begin? I can help! My teaching method is to work with each student on an individual and personal level. I can help you get started with horses and learn the basics.
Hello there! My name is Grace and I have been teaching in this subject area for 10 years. I have grown up with horses and have a real passion for what I teach. I have a range of industry skills and understanding in this topic area.
Riding is supposed to be fun. The horse is supposed to like the lessons, not feel like it is a burden. i want to see the horses being eager and happy while getting ridden.
I try to copy my teaching method from my own trainer's method. I learned so much from her, so my goal is to try to do the same for fellow riders. I like to take things slowly, one step at a time, because nothing comes out of rushing things. Horse AND rider need time to understand things.
I try to provide supportive and well-informed advice. There is a lot to know when starting out and it can be really confusing - everyone has an opinion when it comes to horses! I try to find out what you need and how you learn, and tailor a service to that.
I like to give confidence to my clients, and help to figure out a different way to go about doing something if what you are already doing isn't working
my teaching method is to always have a positive mind and never give up . my name is Niamh and i give my lessons to anyone. As a person i am very fun , happy and creative person i never have a sad face and am always delighted to teach anyone of any age.
I approach the students individually and work on different levels and things during the time we have.
I teach with a sympathetic approach always making rider aware of how the horse feels from the ground up encouraging the rider to listen and have patience
I adapt to each student, taking into account his level and his objectives. I put a point of honor to put riders and horses in confidence on the bars. I own an excellent mare teacher. It is therefore possible to take classes with me even for riders who do not have their own horse.
My teaching methods are purely based on three main factors. Trust, Comfortability, and Education. To do anything with horses you must have trust. This is an animal more that twice your size and has the ability to do incredible but awful things if it is let. You must trust each other.
I prefer one to one learning either in person (if ridden work involved) or via Skype/video clips. Group lessons by arrangement.
My teaching method is to advise students on ways in which they can achieve their goals with horses, whether it be care or riding and help them develop these ideas and find ways to extend both their knowledge and riding.
I prefer to take a practical approach with my lessons and will travel to you. However, I can teach online with any questions you have about the basics. I prefer to teach children as I am a student myself, but I am open to assisting beginner adult riders.
I approach all individuals differently based on their learning style, but I do try to keep things as interesting as possible using tools and props to encourage the leaners. I understand everybody learns differently and therefore I cater my teaching style individually.
I approach each topic by appraisal and step-by-step peeling back layers of an issue to reach a core "why?" of each discussion. I promote critical thinking and adjusting one's worldview based on facts rather than previous unproven knowledge, especially as the equine industry is full of misguided information.
