I base my teaching of sports on the knowledge I learned as a kid being coached by my dad and several other coaches and playing organized sports. Everyone is different, so adapting to each person is important. Please contact me if interested.
I played softball from the time I was 6 years old to almost 18 years old. I began pitching when I was 8 until the end of my softball career. I have made 1st team all district a couple of times and am very knowledgeable on pitching fundamentals and execution. I am looking to teach at the youngest 10 years old to about 15 years old.
I believe you get what you give, and strive to push my athletes to become the best they can be. I have coached under 3 state coaches of the year, as well as experience with a very successful college program. Like any solid structure, quality is built from the very basics and working toward the best product possible.
I believe in going back to the basics to ensure that all players have the fundamentals down before moving to something complex. Sometimes you just need a refresher before moving on. I also believe in routines and repetition because it helps you stay focused on the skills you are developing. I want you to have fun and enjoy the time you spend playing this amazing sport.
My teaching method is to build a solid foundation on fundamentals, and work that with teaching skill sets and mechanics. Once there is a good grasp on mechanics I will continue to build teaching other elements of the game, pitches, etc.
I am open to providing lessons to players of all ages and skill levels. My approach to your learning would be based off of your goals. I am able to provide initial knowledge and skills to toddlers as well as prepare high school students for collegiate level of play.
My teaching method is always keep the kids moving and learning. Ask them questions so you know that they understand what is needed of them, and let them be open with their questions. You have to keep the games fun, because no matter how much they are learning if they aren't having fun or being encouraged, they will not want to come back and they will be discouraged.
Ohio Wesleyan University, Grand Canyon University. Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. I can work with beginners all the way through to high school athletes looking to make the jump to the next level. Having experience in the top levels of competition I know what coaches look for and I will help you develop all the skills necessary to get to that next step in your athletic career.
I realize that every person skill set is at a different point and I try and put together a plan for each individual student so that they will have the most success. I love basketball and believe that I can help any person become a better player.
i like to start with a light run to keep you in shape then stretching and then go into different drills that help you!
Teaching the students to love the game through enthusiasm, fitness and showing technique. Directing them to watch some of the greatest in the sports both young and old through you tube and establishing real time game situations.
I start with learning all the fundamentals first and then go from there.
My teaching methodology is modeling. When learning a new task it’s easier to watch someone model the task for you then try it yourself.
I base class/practice on things that will happen in a game. Games are unpredictable and you need to be ready for anything.
My instructional approach is to provide drills for skills training with positive reinforcement.
Patience, teach the correct fundamentals. Make it fun for the player. Improvement is easy when the player is having fun and see's their own improvements. My job is to make sure they improve and make sure they enjoy playing the game. You can NOT play baseball scared or nervous.
My teaching model is starting off with basics. Step by step directions and then lots of practice.
My teaching methods are to not only teach the basics of softball but to help you become an outstanding athlete.
I prefer to teach through example. Step by step instructions to create awesome form. Accuracy and different pitches will be learn yhrough practice.
I try to learn about each of my players. Their weaknesses and their strengths. Everyone has the ability to succeed with the proper support system and a little encouragement.
My teaching method is very easy going I’m willing to take time on a topic if more practice is needed.
I believe everything is based on hard work. Practice practice practice! I am a left handed pitcher and hitter.
I am a graduate from the University of Colorado. I studied Economics and was part of various clubs throughout my college days. I also volunteer with the local theater in my town and am playing the part of Renfield in the show Dracula. I help with set construction and design and thoroughly enjoy it.
I grew up playing soccer, baseball and basketball. I played both basketball and soccer in high school continuing to play after graduating from high school. I also played men's and coed softball working as the coach for the team setting the line-up and working as a base coach.
I believe kids learn best using quirks that help them remember either math, science, or even softball. It is the fun in a learning environment that makes the kids actually retain the information that they are given. I am a college Nursing student at SLU in Hammond, LA.
I try to reach everyone with the way I teach. It is important to remember that not all students learn the same way. Coming up with different ways to present the information to the students is always optimal for their learning. I believe in inclusion and try to make all my students feel important and build their self confidence. I can follow curriculum given or create my own given enough time.
I am currently enrolled in high school and play golf, softball and basketball. I often assist beginners in developing skills to enable them to excel in their chosen activity. I believe that giving 100% is key ingredient in order to being successful. I will work one-on-one giving my student my full attention to better them at their activity.
I love finding out what a person can do and see what type of style works best and go from there.
I played all over the feild. I try to teach everything to the point where you get no matter what.
