Spanish: Native speaking professor, years of studing english and cromprending the differences between the languages. TOEFL and TOEIC certifacted in english. I like to balance all the areas when learning. grammar, reading and speaking. Also I consider important to get to know about the different countries and cultures that speak the language.
My teaching methodology is not one size fits all because people are not one size fits all. People learn a variety of different ways and also have different goals for which they are learning the language. My teaching methodology will take all these factors into consideration to arrive at the best plan for my pupils.
My method is to make my students feel comfortable with speaking the language they are trying to learn, the more you speak, the easier it gets. I like to grab any topic of their interest and keep the ball rolling in the conversation, we never stop talking.
Since I have theater degree and English degree , I can make the lesson creative. I wanna see what level my student is.We will role play and we will read stories to learn more about the grammar literature and some slang.
I have always been a visual and audio learner. In my opinion the only way to learn another language is through constant exposure. Through a mix of daily grammar exercises, written and oral presentations, as well as audio/video examples I try to introduce both language and culture into a manageable spoon full each lesson.
I believe everyone should learn a new thing every day either about themselves or something valuable that will take them far in life. Always be up for a challenge, never be afraid to try and it's never too late. My motto: I can accept failure but I can't accept not trying.
My method is easy and respectful. Ask a question and I will answer in the easiest way possible.
I adjust my lessons according to the needs of my students.
I studied psychology in Mexico , and I was working for more the ten years as a recruiter and trainer in charge, this is why I have experience asking and checking answers in Spanish. My teaching techniques are the use of the 4 key language skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. This will help students learn formal and correct grammar through usage rather than memorization. I encourage the students to participate in the class, not to be shy, ask questions - there is never a silly question - and I enjoy the class as much as the students.
Conversation and dialogue in both languages.
My teaching method is based on practical learning through acquisition of vocabulary and grammar used in different situational contexts by adapting content from certified publishers, ELE professionals and my own developed CENSOL Method similar to the Cambridge Press's TESOL.
I like to teach using the experience learning methodology, where the learner can live a situation and learn the language as a tool for the specific need more than memorizing words repetitively. My method is more interactive and fun to practice through tactics and interesting strategies.
My preferred approach to developing curriculum and teaching lessons consists predominantly of Communicative Language Teaching however, I prefer to create lessons which have been tailored to individual students set to help them achieve their particular language acquisition needs and goals.
I like to inspire a passion for the language by giving real-life situations to my students, which makes them have to think and in turn utilize first-hand what they have learned in class. Reinforcement is also key, so I like to give some homework in order to practice and hone important skills.
Throughout my teaching career, I have had the wonderful opportunity to instruct a diverse group of high school college and professional students, including those who performed below-, on-, and above grade level.
