Spanish: Native speaking professor, years of studing english and cromprending the differences between the languages. TOEFL and TOEIC certifacted in english. I like to balance all the areas when learning. grammar, reading and speaking. Also I consider important to get to know about the different countries and cultures that speak the language.
I approach my classes with a combination of language and culture. This means that the arts of a particular culture (whether that be music or literature, for example) are vital in a language's acquisition as well as creating an understanding and familiarity with said culture. With that said, I place the utmost importance on repetition and challenging one's self.
I believe in making students feel comfortable and tailoring the type of instruction I use to the learner. I make sure to incorporate the four skill areas into my lessons (speaking, reading, writing and listening). I use a variety of methods to ensure that my student(s) understand the material completely.
I approach teaching as I would appreciate being taught. I've found that each student learns best in different ways, and I am no different. Therefore, I do not have a set teaching style. I teach in a way that best helps students to learn, and will learn to teach in the way that they need me to.
My teaching style is mainly the Communicative Method, which is highly interactive and dynamic and proven to be effective in the development of student's communication skills. The main goal of this method is the ability to communicate in the target language.
I make learning a valuable experience by first teaching the mechanics of Spanish while helping students to retain the information they'll need in order to speak and write in Spanish. I believe in learning vocabulary, but only to a certain extent because the mechanics of the language are more important, in my opinion.
I truly believe if you want to learn you can learn and you get what you put in. I've never asked for perfection just effort. I love what I do and make an effort to show the students that learning is fun.
Soy profesora de ciencias naturales (biología) pero he enseñado español y música. He trabajado en colegios con grados 3,4,5,6,8 y 10 en el área de biología. Español con niños de jardín y música con adolescentes y adultos, enseño lectura de música y saxofón.
When speaking about teaching methods, I think that it really depends on the students learning styles and how best he/she retains new and sometimes quite difficult tasks like learning new vocabulary words for an upcoming exam or understanding the true difference between the two types of past tenses Spanish has that English does not.
Bachelor of Education teaching Spanish in new York more than classes, I give you a coach, i know that knowledge is already in you, I guide you and give you an explanation so you can learn as quickly as possible
My philosophy about language learning is that it matters because communicating with the people who speak it matters. I do not focus on literature or language as an academic pursuit. Language learning is the key to understanding the history, culture and way of life of our Spanish-speaking neighbors.
With children I start with the Spanish/English flash card that have the words and pictures in both languages. For adults I start them out with a SPANISH FOR BEGINNERS file, a good dictionary, audio tapes and my coaching. Look forward to hearing from you.

I use the foreign -target language at all times in my teaching and love using my body language to exemplify my teachings. I also enjoy using visuals, technology to support my teaching and fun activities, such as games, videos, songs, etc.
I attended Texas A&M and got a bachelors degree in Spanish. I have taken Spanish classes since I was in junior high and it's one of my favorite languages. I focus on vocabulary, spelling, and conjugation, as well as making sure sentence structure is correct where appropriate. I think learning a language should be fun, so in certain situations games and other fun things are important as well.

Show them the power of languages and how to use language effectively. Know the language I am teaching. Language teachers need to understand target culture beyond postcard knowledge this is I be. Knowing the language is imperative, but so is knowing about second language acquisition. The fact that I am a native speaker of the language does make me an effective teacher.

I base my classes on what I know and have learned from taking classes in a Spanish speaking country. My mom also teaches Spanish and has material that we both share. I’ve been learning more about different types of Spanish from different countries and know the proper way to teach it.
I feel that when people want to learn, they learn better, faster, and retain more knowledge. So I bring topics or themes that are interesting to the student(s) and they essentially self teach with the guidance of a professional.
I work by using structures, that permits to my students to learn easier, faster and in a more independent way. There is a point when the student can work in an autonomous way and that is the success of my method.
I use the PPPE instructional sequence: Presentation, Practice, Production and Evaluation. First, for presentation I use videos or audios, then I teach and check some functional, lexical and grammatical features of language presented in the video/audio to enhance comprehension (e.g talking about the main topic, extracting new words, focusing on expressions, grammar focus etc).
My teaching method is:Communicative Approach: This method is typically employed with students who have recently arrived in the United States and understand no English at all. A bilingual teacher teaches them fundamental math and reading skills, for example, in their native language first then begins teaching the same curriculum in English, using the native language to fall back on.
I typically work with adults and older children, so my teaching method involves developing good study habits as well as excellent writing and speaking skills. I like to use a variety of resources, and I enjoy customizing my lesson to suit my student's needs and helping them turn their weaknesses into strengths.
I take into consideration at what level my students come in and work around the topics they’d like to learn. I have a relaxed way of teaching, emphasizing on the organic development of learning from my students vs. an established curriculum or program.
