For some subjects I do not use a book. I like to engage a student in the creative process. I am an Eastman School graduate fluent in the language of music. Each lesson is fashioned to the individual. And I strongly advise student not to practice ...play and have fun.
I use standard method books and music literature in half hour, 45 minute and hour formats depending on the individual and their level of playing and their personal goals. I work with children and adults from beginning to moderately advanced.
I teach based solely on my students needs. I have experience teaching aurally, reading notes, applying skills to multiple instruments at one time and love to work with my students to hone their learning abilities and structure my teaching around them to create an environment for the most success.

I believe each student is unique and must be taught differently from one another. I like to use real world examples in my teachings so students will find relevance outside of our lessons that will benefit them in all aspects of life.
The student should have the resources while the teacher should help the student optimize. Learning should be a fun yet serious action so the teacher and the student will teach and earn more efficiently. Also, it's good to teach miscellaneous subjects and then correlate them back into the main subject just so the student and the teacher will not get bored.
This is the first thing that students will read about your lessons. Remember to be attentive to your spelling and style of your texts to make them more attractive and friendly! Your name, contact details, logo or URLs cannot appear in your texts.
