I approach tutoring as a custom-made session. I listen to my students, learn about their learning styles, and tailor lessons to meet their needs and wants. My goal is to instill the love of learning a foreign language, and to help them achieve what they want.
I’ I’m an undergraduate student at Roxbury Community College; my method consist on:Reminding students about the around environment which I consider as the first step to conveyance and understanding; reviewing the details which Can help the student to make improvements.
My method depends on the level of each student. I like to know the person in front so I can adapt my lessons to his tastes and needs. For beginners I first approach the sounds of French to quickly begin to learn the different times of the language.
I am a French native speaker from Switzerland and I am fluent in English. I have always enjoyed learning new languages such as English, Italian and German. I would like to teach others my language (hearing, speaking, reading and writing). Don't hesitate to contact me to discuss what kind of help you need.
In order to keep the class alive and diverse, while allowing to master all the different facets of the language, I put the accent on using a wide variety of different sources. And because everyone has very different ways of learning, I adapt myself to each student.
I like to teach in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I am very structure, so its easy for my students to understand the grammar. I am very meticulous about pronunciation. I like to use flash cards, games to learn the vocabulary.
Lots of talking and learning based on examples acquisition. In order to produce, you need to induce. Also I tend to let my learners walk by themselves, make mistakes but always watching their backs. I never let anyone down. However the key is the interest and motivation of the student. Everything else should come naturally.
I graduated high school from a french private school in lebanon and passed my french Baccalaureate in sociology and economy. I would be happy to help in any level of french you're in until you can hopefully be able to speak and write fluently.
My teaching methods are both the old fashion way and the unconventional one. I mean, I certainly will follow you on every step of the way, but I believe that the best way to learn is by having Fun !! Music, videos, Cartoons, and some small advertisements examples are going to be on my program.
Trabajo con jóvenes y adultos. Me especializo en la conversación. Hace algunos años creé una metodología para darle clases a personas de habla hispana. Soy una persona muy jovial, muy afable y me gusta que mis alumnos aprendan. La docencia es mi pasión.
I structure my lessons around what my students do during the week or like to spend their free time doing. This ensures that they can learn how to use the language in a useful & meaningful way. We will learn various grammatical structures, idioms and words that will equip them to clearly express their thoughts and engage with what matters to them.
I teach students how to teach themselves. My lessons focus on each student's personal interests, emphasizing conversation-building from the first day. Typically, students tell me about their interests, and I supply the vocabulary and grammar to help them express whatever they wish to say.
I teach elementary/intermediate French in similar styles. I teach grammatical concepts as the basis of each lesson and then add on vocabulary. Often I prepare games for students to recall vocabulary and practice writing/speaking it. I focus on the student producing the language rather than passively absorbing it (although they will listen to me speak French quite a bit as well).
My teaching technique is based on exchanges and free reflection on different subjects. For me, the most important thing is not to add knowledge to each other, but to learn about it and know how and when to use it.
With French, I prefer immersive learning and try to avoid using English as much as possible. I believe that repetitive exercises are effective for foreign language acquisition. For this reason, I believe it is incredibly important that each student use a workbook of some sort--and I can certainly recommend some great options.
I also to use repetition. I show the concepts first and I have students repeat the process until they can understand themselves. I think repetition it is the best way to learn. When I do this method most students understand.
I like to use task based teaching in the classroom which is an approach to second language acquisition that allows students to complete meaningful tasks in the language being taught. Examples of these activities include writing dialogues to read in front of the class and discussion based activities such as how rags to riches is perceived in different cultures.
I have a bachelor degree in french literature and a master degree in intercultural education with 40 years of experience in teaching french at all levels. I taught french as a foreign language and as a mother tong. I customize my teaching according to the needs of my students.
I am a recently retired educator with thirty years experience teaching English/Language Arts. I taught K - 12 and college. My lesson structures varied depending upon the number of students and various academic levels the students' test scores in their reading, writing and math scores.
I taught students from 5 to 60 years old; therefore, I had to accommodate my method to each student depending on the preferred way of learning and learning needs. I start by asking my students what is it that they want to learn the most and how they think they will learn it best, then we make a plan and a schedule to achieve the goal.
I have been trained in both traditional and immersion-based teaching methodologies. I believe in learning languages by first using them to communicate, and then discussing language and grammar structures after seeing them in action.
I will use your textbook and supplement with authentic materials if that is helpful. I want you to be comfortable with the pace of work but I will encourage you to push yourself so that you can achieve success and fluency.
I am a Marketing graduate from Montreal, Canada and give french lessons to students of all ages. I structure my lessons according to the needs of each student, taking into consideration their level, interests and goals. Students work on building vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure, reading and listening comprehension, and speaking practice.
I work a lot on the grammar and prononciation of words. Lot of vocabulary words and verbs conjugation. I try to keep my classes fun and interesting while working hard.
I adapt to my student. if you are an individual traveling overseas on a business trip, we will be working in immersion and on immediately applicable skills, day to day functioning. if you are a student preparing for something specific, we will target our approach to your specific needs.
In general, I try to tailor my teaching methodology to each student, depending on their level of experience in the language and what they want to get out of it. In general, I try to teach using every day activities and normal conversation, trying to mimic the way we learn our native languages.
I am going to be honest here, I only have helped people really with the language, but I have to say my methodology is pretty flexible depending on the needs of the student. At the same time though, I myself have a visual learning style, so there might be elements of that woven in there.
I make a point to tailor all my lessons to the needs and goals of my students. Because I am a native French speaker, I understand the challenges when learning a new language and value the importance of cultural literacy.
I accept all students, no matter their proficiency levels in French. I use my linguistic knowledge to highlight specific, difficult aspects of the French language and make them easy to understand and retain for English speakers. Students in my classroom always find themselves constantly engaged and having fun while learning.
I will explain the assignment/home work and will assist you. My goal is for you to understand, speak French and guide you to not be fluent but to read and write. Depending on your level, you will excel. You will learn.
