My teaching method is there are no stupid questions. I encourage questions, this is the time when we challenge our brain and grow our knowledge. I have always had a part-time job with younger kids, the most recent position was a youth instructor for kids between age 3-5 and a cheer coach for girls between the age 6-12 at my local YMCA. I absolutely loved every moment at my job. I love that their focus was finding the correct answer and not what others may think. This is the type of energy I would keep between my students and I.
I'm a Navy veteran and current college student in the process of receiving a degree in Economics. My experience with teaching comes from being in the military for 4 years. In that short period of time, I led a team of 5 junior sailors who have taught me patience, embrace and appreciate mistakes. I am a firm believer in learning through our mistakes, and that is exactly when we are at our best to become better.
