I prefer to devise a teach strategy based on individual learning styles. Teaching the way I prefer doesn't work for all students. Therefore, I prefer to be adaptive to the needs of each child. Typically, I start with how the teacher or book is teaching the section and go from there.
I'm a Data Sciencist working to build my own consulting firm. I choose to teach to keep my fundementals sharp and to provide value to students. I have taught in the classroom for about 3 years and tutored an additional 3 years. Courses that I have taught range from teaching second language learners math to teaching computer and math to native English speaking students. At my last substitute teaching postition, I brought a class of 100% behind students in November to 70% ahead by April. It's all about putting in the necessary effort to ensure each student is provided the help that they need.
All lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the class starts or you will be charged in full. I allow for one makeup class at no additional charge.
