Mohegan tribal grandmother affluent in the Sacred Hoop cultural history of Northern Woodland Native American people. I've taught the cycles and geographic changes through time, and seasonal traditions with animals and moon cycles which include the Blue moon. Gifts of the land provide tools for everyday living making and using them has contributed to my skills as a Pequot Museum Educator. Taking these Skills and Education with me provided great natural opportunities for youth. Hereditary leadership is the high standards in which students achieve their goals.
The early turn of the century I presented The cultural history of the Medicine Wheel at libraries and elementary schools. Teaching as many as 25 students at a time. Students achieved spiritual connection, healing and historical content of the Northern Woodlands tribes. The students made corn dolls and pinched pottery and there own personal Medicine Wheel.
With older youths science or technology played a role in how the natural herbs and woods were used. I'm currently working with the Meadowbrook Waldorf School 4th grade. Planning an 8 week travel through time around the Medicine Wheel also referred to as the Sacred Hoop.

Beth is a very trustworthy lady, Teacher. She shows up on time, brings the material that is needed. She is very caring. Beth has great knowledge for the classes that she teaches.
I took Beth's private class, The Circle of light spirit guide. A wheel through seasons of your life that you can learn to reflect on. We also meditated for enlightenment. I truly enjoyed Beth's teachings.
I also took private classes; making a Dream Keeper and Native Talking Stick. Beth provided the materials. I plan on taking more classes that Beth teaches.
Beth has the gift of teaching. Patient and skilled in commanding the classroom, she has a way of getting on the level of the child. Children love her because she gets on their level.
Beth has been a help in our homeschool groups bringing wonderful art lessons that she has managed to tie into other educational topics ( an example of this was an art project that the kids made really need insects and she tied several lessons in about the insects). Kids learn a lot and they had lots of fun. She is a great teacher.
Beth is an expert in Native American culture. She was a great asset to my Sonography class during a project about Native American medicine. Beth provided a wealth of knowledge regarding the customs, traditions and practices of the Native American people and their healing practices. She provided props as well as stories to enhance the information she was imparting.
