I have two different aspects in my teaching. First of all, I like to see your method of learning. After the trial class, I try to design classes and/or tutoring tailored to your method.
Secondly, as mentioned in my profile, I want to know why you want to study biology. Depending on your goal as a student (pre-med, research, bioengineering, or simply for the heck of it), We will gear towards where you need to go.
Here are my two main methods:
One, if you are currently enrolled in a class, I like to sit through the class materials with you. I've personally learned that perspective is key to understanding subjects in biology. I offer feedbacks and get more into the details in your interests and struggles and walk you through.
Second, I like to offer a class-like tutoring for students that want to learn the subject before taking the course. We schedule a timeline, and we reach a certain goal. This will be a chance to help open the eyes, and prep you for an "A" in class!
Within and beyond the United States, I've traveled and worked exploring different applications of biology. From Pre-Med studies, cubicle-biology, to highly-accredited research labs (as a biochemist and bioengineer), I've experienced it all. I tailor your class with this in mind.
To be more detailed, I am a biomedical engineer pursuing to extend my career in neural engineering. Meanwhile, as a recent graduate, I want to inspire and guide other students! I have taught peers, mentored (Welch Scholar) students in research labs, and led numerous bioengineering groups! Join me for inspirations and to learn much more about the fields in Biology!
Please inform the cancellation 12 hours before class time (via provided email).
I understand sick days happen! I'm not here to waste your money nor time, so we're on common grounds. Your study material will still be prepared, so please cancel at least 12 hours prior to class or the full charge of a single class (1 hour) will be deducted. If you are using a package, an hour will be marked as used. Thank you for your understanding! Cheers!

Kelly is an extraordinarily smart, passionate, and hardworking young woman with incredible dedication to the sciences. She's not only a diligent, reliable, and extremely trustworthy scientist, but she furthermore cares deeply about her students' progress. I have always known her to complete even the smallest assignment, whether for work, school, or in her personal life, on time and with a positive attitude. I am amazed by her patience and her enthusiasm for her work. These amazing qualities were apparent right from when I first met Kelly two years ago, and they have only grown stronger since then. To top it all off, Kelly has won numerous awards through her education, her work experience includes working abroad in an international company and collaborating with many senior scientists in her work positions, and she has contributed to several publications including a first-author publication. I think any student would be lucky to have Kelly as their private teacher.
