I am a Pennsylvania, state certified Visual Arts Teacher.
I work with artists and students of all ages, including: pre -k through grades 12, A.P., college students, adults, and students with special needs.
Art is both very subject and personal. My teaching approach is a student centered one, allowing students to find their artist voice. Student will also be able to learn new techniques, art history , and art criticism in order to grow on an individual level.
I have been giving art lessons since 2007.
I have taught a variety of students, from community centers to traditional art classroom students (including A.P. studio art), and students with special needs requiring additional modifications and attention.
My students have successfully completed academic and personal goals ranging from the following: learning new skills, completion of school based assignments, completing art portfolios, and creating individual bodies of work.
My rates will vary depending on transportation cost and travel times.
