Each student is an unique learner. It is my job to identify how they learn and tailor tutoring sessions to their course material and learning style. I encourage students to develop critical thinking skills that will translate to not only future education but real-life experience as well. A key focus is to encourage students to develop good study habits and reduce test anxiety through rigorous preparation and practice.

I understand the complexities in tutoring and teaching the abstract concepts of physics and mathematics by teaching critical thinking skills and problem solving techniques. Tutoring is either conducted online via bitpaper.io (it's free for students), or in-person at a mutually agreed upon public location. I prefer to tutor in college or university libraries (sometimes Starbucks).
Regular/weekly tutoring is recommended to keep abreast of material covered in class and to not feel the need "to cram" before an exam.
I am flexible with scheduling and can usually squeeze you in for extra tutoring or with 6 hours notice reschedule for another time.
Most tutoring sessions tend to run about 45min-1.5hours depending on you and the material you want to cover.

Responsible for the development of the first distance learning (online) physics courses initially in Blackboard and later in Brightspace. This work paved the way for development of additional comprehensive mathematically based courses for undergraduates. Tools, methods and materials I have developed are easily transposable across multi-disciplinary lines with Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Education.
