▪ Manage and hire delivery drivers for Taylor Gourmet Deli. Responsible for all ten restaurant locations and a staff of 25 drivers ▪ Recruited dozens of volunteers and local residents to assist in campaigning while serving as a Field Manager for Romney for President. Managed their schedules and routes to strategically connect with voters
▪ Coordinate the daily delivery of dozens of catering orders in a prompt and efficient manner; accountable for ensuring food orders are correct when delivered; responsible for the distribution of hundreds of dollars of tips among all catering drivers ▪ Coordinated the planning of events for National School Choice Week, a week-long celebration of events and activities promoting parental choice in education; my work influenced the celebrations that took place across the United States ▪ Coordinated door-to-door canvassing for Cuyahoga County in Northeast Ohio during Romney’s presidential campaign ▪ Provided administrative support to the Dean of Admissions and office employees at Georgetown University; coordinated the schedule for campus tours, interviews, and information sessions; processed application materials including resumes, transcripts, and test scores for candidates

Education Policy ▪ Produced policy briefs on charter schools, teachers’ pensions, and digital learning in Illinois while serving as an education policy analyst ▪ Wrote blog posts for the Illinois Policy Institute’s website on education reform issues including vouchers, tax credits, and contract negotiations; letters to the editor and op-eds based on policy briefs ▪ Developed blog posts on Heritage Foundation’s website in support of parental choice in education ▪ Researched policy issues including school vouchers, national standards, and online learning ▪ Communicated regularly with more than 400 think tanks, non-profit organizations, and education reform groups while serving as National School Choice Week outreach coordinator ▪ Solicited universities, colleges, and non-profit groups nationwide to screen The Lottery, an education reform documentary on charter schools in New York City ▪ Hosted screenings of the film onsite and online via Constellation.tv; delivered presentations on education reform and charter school programs following the screenings
Political Work ▪ Communicated with constituents concerning Congressman Ray LaHood’s voting record and pending legislation; summarized findings and shared them with colleagues who briefed Mr. LaHood ▪ Conducted constituent tours of the U.S. Capitol building; presented to groups of 20 – 30 people and answered their inquiries ▪ Completed more than 13,000 voter contacts to get out the vote for Mitt Romney ▪ Developed Eli Lilly’s Twitter account and trained governmental affairs personnel on how to proactively use social media ▪ Researched data on public pension and retirement programs for cities with greater than one half million people; analyzed the targeted pension rates of return to correlate the effects of the recession on pension and retirement program liabilities
