With my experience in substitute teaching, I am able to assist elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults that need assistance with academic English, in order to help them with speaking, reading, writing, to include essay writing. Teach a two-day class called “Accessing Higher Education Track” to provide soldiers with helpful information, providing them with research tools and allow time to research colleges. Students are given an overview of the two GI bills, have an opportunity to apply for the GI bill, do their FAFSA, learn about scholarships, and admission requirements. From the counseling office soldiers receive help in applying for colleges, and much more.
