In my classes, students learn Spanish by constantly putting into practice everything they learn through interaction and cooperative tasks. Languages are made to communicate, and therefore the best way to learn a language is by using it to communicate from day one. My lessons are entertaining and funny, aimed to immerse students in a natural learning process.
I have graduated from the Open University in 2016 with an upper-second class honours degree in Modern Languages, and from the University of Cantabria in 2017 with a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, for which I was awarded the grade of distinction. Also, I am certified by the Spanish government (through Cervantes Institute) as an official tutor and examiner for the DELE exams. I have completed my education with a number of courses from reputable schools such as the University of Southampton, the Spanish National University of Distance Education and the University of Caen in France. I have seven years of experience as a Spanish tutor with both adults students and children. I am passionate about teaching as it gives me the chance to make a difference in other people’s lives, particularly in a world where being able to communicate across boundaries is becoming increasingly important.
