I like to connect with each individual on a personal level to determine where their own limitations are and address those issues. I am approachable, and encourage all students to ask all types of questions. I prefer an interactive teaching environment, I like to interact as much as possible with students to ensure they are truly grasping the subject matter. I attempt to make the course material as applicable to the real world as possible, so the students can get a handle on why the material is useful.
I have a Bachelor's degree from Queen's University in Engineering Physics. I am currently a PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering, with my research focused on acoustic and vibration minimization of aerospace components. I have a strong math/physics background, and I have three years experience as a teaching assistant in the Mechanical Engineering department at Queen's.
