I'm a foreign student currently working on my masters as a journalist.
I try to go by first learning the profile of the student, their strengths and weaknesses and then we pick up a path to follow through the things they would like to work on.
My methodology is to try to speak the 90% of the class in Spanish, choosing interesting topics that we can debate, discuss, laugh about and learn.
I teach Spanish lessons around 4 years ago and since then I've been committed to spread wherever I go Spanish language so more people can communicate and interact around the globe.
My students have achieved more confidence when they have to speak and they feel very thankful for all the good tips and supervision i gave them when they were new in the language.
I've been teaching Spanish as a freelancer since 2014, started in Memphis, Tennessee and simultaneously in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
Then I moved to Argentina and taught Spanish to foreigners who wanted to improve their Spanish skills. The structure I've been using, since then, is based in analyze the profile of my students first, doing a diagnosis of what they know, need to work on and would like to improve, followed by lots of interactive exercises that will assure more confidence in their language skills.
