Recent chemical engineering graduate from Northwestern University offering tutoring services for a variety of math topics to students online or near Evanston, IL

Methodology

I have tutored students of many different ages, ranging from elementary school to high school-level. I would like for you to send me the topics or example problems that you would like to go over prior to each session, so that I can prepare the best possible explanation and breakdown of the topics. The lesson will begin with going over these areas, breaking them down, taking as much time as needed until it finally makes sense. Then, we start solving simpler versions of problems to making sure that the basic understanding of the topic is achieved. After this, we can move on to tougher problems in order to drill in the knowledge.

Background

I am a recent chemical engineering graduate and three-time co-captain of the Northwestern University Varsity Women's Swimming and Diving team. I was a volunteer tutor for a few of the student-athletes at my dive club for a little over a year. I mainly taught mathematics but also helped with topics in chemistry and physics. My tutees were able to actually understand the topics and succeed on their homework and exams.
