Results driven, experienced educator and business person, with a concentration in Adult Education

Methodology

Student-centered instruction [SCI] is an instructional approach in which students
influence the content, activities, materials, and pace of learning. A teacher’s job is to
give students the opportunity to learn independently from one another while
guiding them toward the skills they need to be effective.

Background

I am results driven teacher with a PhD in education (with a concentration in curriculum development). An MBA (concentration in Management and a concentration in adult education). I currently work as an educator at a private school for going on four years. With the experience I have gained working as an intern and an educator I feel my training combined with eight years of teaching has prepared me as an experienced educator.

I completed my Ph.D. in March of 2016 in Education/Curriculum Development at Capella University. I also completed my MBA in Business Administration with a minor in Management in 2005.
