I approach students as individuals. I try to find out first what they do know so that I can then fill in any holes they have in their knowledge and move them then to an understanding of what they are trying to learn about. I recognize students each have their own skill set and I try to work with those skills.

Garry was my high school AP Chem and Physics teacher. He always made learning fun and concepts easy to understand, finding ways to incorporate labs that were challenging, yet still enjoyable. In fact, when I took general chemistry in college, we did many of the same labs I did in Garry’s class. He has a website where he keeps all of his chemistry and physics notes and homework help. I used his website as a resource when I took 100-200 level physics and chemistry classes in college. He was one of the few teachers who properly prepped me for higher education and still cared enough after high school graduation to keep up on my progress in college.
I’ve always worked myself up and make school harder than it should be! Mr. Mason was always there every afternoon to help me in tutoring as well as in the morning before school started. He is a great mentor and teacher that pushes any student to achieve more! Always so kind and patient and explains everything in a well way to grasp the subject! By far the most passionate and helpful teacher I’ve ever had as well as a great person! I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without all the help through the many many years!
Garry was my high school physics teacher. He is excellent at explaining the complexities of physics in a way that's easy to understand. His teaching and class inspired me to major in physics in college!
