I was born and raised during Soviet era in Eastern Ukraine, which was mostly Russian-speaking part of that country. However, the half of my life I live and work in the US, from New York to North Carolina. I received my grad degree in Design Engineering. I worked for Canadian company’s headquarters in US as a Project Manager in Engineering and Sales, before I switched to IT development, and joined a Corporate world for years.
My approach in tutoring has five main elements: focus, comprehension, memorization, organization, and fun. I believe that my students need to be completely engaged into the subject, understand the learning material, and also relax and enjoy the studying process.
I would like to thank you for taking your time reading my profile and considering me as your future coach.
For the most of my life, I had exposure to tutoring. First, through my school and college years, I used to tutor my peers in variety of subjects. I tutored my daughter here, in the US, and some of her friends, from elementary through high school, in reading, math, algebra, geometry, science, chemistry, history. On my professional level, over the years, I regularly provided skill training for design engineering and drafting software. Later, while in IT, I trained newcomers for business structure and variety of programming tools and applications.
I volunteered in helping to learn Russian conversation and reading to some business and missionary individuals for their trips to Russia and Ukraine.
