My teaching method for SAT prep is a lot of targeted practice with real exam questions. There is a pattern and once students can discern the patterns, they are a lot more successful. I also believe in using test-taking strategies in order to eliminate and critically think of alternate ways to solve problems.
I have a Masters of Science in Education. I currently teach at the high school level and one of the courses I teach is SAT prep. 100% of my students showed growth of at least 80 points on the SAT Math portion and at least 50 points in the SAT Reading/Writing.

She works hard every day, whether it’s in a lesson, or just supporting students in general. She is dedicated and tries her hardest in every single endeavour she goes through. She is supportive as well. I cannot count how many times on both hands she has been at special after-school events to support her students when other teachers don’t bother to stay past 2:30. I recommend Miss Candelario because she is one of the best teachers I’ve had in all my years of schooling
