Secondary Education English Tutor with 10 Plus Years Experience in Joplin MO

Methodology

My love of teaching comes from a lifelong love of learning. As a cum laude graduate, I know that hard work and dedication to learning can pay off. In previous positions, I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students realize their own potential and see the grades and test scores improve significantly.

I specialize in tutoring early and secondary students in the areas of English and math. I also have a minor in Special Education and working with students with special needs.

One of my goals for each session is to keep the student challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after almost all lessons, and I provide periodic assessments and progress reports.

I am generally available for tutoring either between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm and then again from 5:00pm to 9:00pm everyday and am willing to travel. My base rate is $18/hour for in person lessons.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you and your family achieve success in all your studies!

One of my goals for each session is to keep the student challenged, but not overwhelmed. We will work together, step by step in order to get you to your academic needs and goals!!
