I give music lessons to students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of ability. Whether you have never sung before or are preparing for a professional singing career, I have the knowledge and teaching experience necessary to shape your lessons to fit your own personal needs and goals. Are you or is your child taking a Music Theory class in high school or college, or getting ready for college music auditions? I can help with every step of the way, both musical and logistical. Beginner piano lessons also available.
I hold a Master's degree in Musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory and Composition from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. I have a great deal of experience with a variety of musical genres, including classical, musical theater, and sacred music. I am currently the music director at St. Bernadette Church in Northborough, MA and am a co-founder of a summer musical theater organization. Previously, I have held appointments as a choral singer with some of the world's leading orchestras, for example, the Philadelphia Orchestra and Vienna Philharmonic.
