I am a civil lawyer with 37 years experience in litigation and transactional work. I have taught law at both LSU and Southern Universities and have received educational instruction to further my abilities as a teacher. I am patient and have my students' best interests at heart always. The courses i have taught are generally all of the topics covered by the Louisiana Civil Code, including for example: property law, successions and donations, testaments, trusts, mortgage and security devices, law peraining to the duties of notaries in Louisiana and business law for undergraduate students.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. Students number well over one thousand. My students are generally those who are seeking a juris doctorate degree or undergraduate students who need help in business law courses.
I obtained my law degree (juris doctor) from LSU Law School in 1979. Since that time i have been actively engaged in the practice of law dealing directly with the subjects i teach. I have received numerous awards from both the state and local bar associations for service to the community and teaching.
