I see tutoring as a collaborative process between the student and me, and truly want to see every student grow, improve, and succeed. My goal is for every student to come away from each tutoring session feeling more confident in their math abilities and themselves as a learner. Before I start working with a student, I spend time developing a personal learning plan with them to keep track of our progress throughout sessions while keeping larger educational goals in mind.
I am a first-year undergraduate student at Clark University majoring in Education and Psychology and am in the process of receiving my Masters of Arts in Teaching. My current research involves cultural differences in developmental and cognitive adaptation. I have three years of experience tutoring AP Psychology and received a 5 on the AP exam.
