I am a young musician looking to assist anyone interested in learning or improving his/her skills in the violin. I use the Suzuki Method as well as scales and etudes like Wohlfahrt, Kayser and Kreutzer.
I encourage my students to develop a solid technique and beatiful tone from the beginning, and I am direct, but nice, and very patient and committed to their progress :)
I give lessons in English and in Spanish, too!
I am from Peru, and play violin since I was a child. I studied at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima, and currently study at the Lynn University Conservatory of Music (Florida, U.S.) with prof. Guillermo Figueroa.
I have attended summer festivals like the Interlochen Arts Camp (Michigan, U.S.), Internationale Junge Orchesterakademie (Bayern, Germany), and Festival de Inverno Campos do Jordão (São Paulo, Brazil).
I have five years of experience giving private lessons, and currently teach at the Preparatory School of Music at the Lynn Conservatory. I have also taken Suzuki Philosophy, and Violin Books 1 and 2 Courses in Lima, Peru.
The lessons I offer are online only

I started taking lessons with Sol 5 months ago and I have grown more than with my previous teacher (took lessons for 2 years). As an adult learner I am satisfied with my progress. Sol was able to customise the lessons to meet my goals and also encouraged me to keep striving through my shortfalls. She corrects technique rather than focusing on small mistakes. I highly recommend Sol no matter what level you are at.
Sol has been the violin teacher to my 2 kids for a year. She is a very sweet teacher but above all, she is very professional and will always do her best to teach her students the best way possible. Also, she is an excellent violin player. I can recommend her as a teacher because I know my kids are learning the violin with an excellent technique and with a person that really loves them. Thanks, Sol!.
