My teaching methodology involves making sure that my students understand the technical skills necessary to execute techniques on their own while also focusing on helping students explore their creativity and thinking about why they are making art and what they want to show the world through their art work.
I am a weaver with a Master's degree in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have been a teaching assistant for two years for various fiber course with both undergrad and graduate students. I have also worked with middle schoolers during summer fashion camps and several weaving workshops.
