Working as an associate professor of physics and 12 years of teaching experience in physics and mathematics.

Methodology

For me teaching is a privilege, rather than just a profession. The goal of a teacher is to
educate young minds. It is one of the ancient ways of transferring knowledge from one human
being to the other, from one generation to the next. As a teacher, this transfer of information not
only requires a thorough understanding of the subject matter, but also the ability to read the
minds of students. Each instructor has his/her own method of teaching, but a good teacher is one
who can understand the “hows”, “whys” and “whats” of a student, and address those specific
needs. Information can either be spoon fed to individuals or presented in a way that will make
them think and develop their own thought process. I have a strong faith in the latter. I believe in
education that equips the students with the skills and experience needed to identify, understand,
and solve problems. The course of learning may often expose the students to obstacles and
frustrations. So, an important and rather difficult task of a teacher is to instill in the students an
inquisitive mind, an independent way of thinking and the perseverance to overcome obstacles.
Finally, I strongly believe that being a good instructor requires devotion to education and
understanding the laws of teaching and learning. It is a constant learning experience and I strive
to become better with every opportunity that I get.

I am an associate professor of physics. I have twelve years of teaching experience in physics and mathematics. Currently, I am teaching university physics I and II, and college physics I and II courses in both the classroom and online environment.
