I am a retired perfusionist and a US Air Force Veteran with 30 years in the field of medicine. I have instructed at college level for numerous universities and have had many hours in a classroom conducting training for my specialties.
I believe that students need to see relevance in their subject. I attempt to get them to relate what we are doing to everyday life. I believe they learn by arriving at the answer through a process that can be repeated, not just memorization.
I have been around quite a while. I have had classrooms as small as 1 to a full class at a major university. I am proud to say that quite a few people are in their profession of choice because we were able to break down complex concepts to simple solutions.
There will be additional charge of 50 cents per mile if location is greater than45 miles (one way) from my home.
